U15 Shrewsbury vs. Princethorpe College - SNS Cup

In glorious early Spring sunshine, the U15 girls certainly found a spring in their step for this 3^rd Round SNS Cup fixture against Princethorpe College.

Having gone behind to a well taken free-kick, the girls kept going and finally found a way through a resolute defence, with a well taken goal by Shiseido W (G) just before half time.

The Shrewsbury School girls picked up where they left off after half time, but several chances went begging, including a well-saved penalty kick. With the fixture finishing 1-1,  the tie went straight to penalties and it was fitting that captain Shiseido W (G) was able to make amends for her earlier missed penalty, after Princethorpe College had hit the post with their last effort.

Well done to all involved and especially the other penalty takers - Nina G (G), Freya P (EDH), Tilly L (MSH) and Sophia C (M) - the girls played with lots of heart and determination and thoroughly deserve their place in the next round.
