Links forged between UK and Thai Alumni

The Salopian Club was delighted to welcome visitors from Shrewsbury International School Bangkok to discuss strengthening links between former pupils of the two schools.

Nitchawee Peeraamornkiat, the Alumni Marketing and Relations Officer for the Thai School and Pailin Rungratmaneewong who is PA to the Principal met with Holly Fitzgerald from the Salopian Club to compare notes on alumni relations. There may only be 20 years of history in Bangkok compared to 472 in Shrewsbury but there is already a lively and active society which recently held a reunion for 120 pupils now based in the UK. 

The two groups are keen to explore ways of interacting and networking across the globe particularly where there are shared professional and business interests.

Khun Ploy also met with Stuart Cowper, Isabell Rocke and the team working on a new Darwin themed Summer School at Shrewsbury which many pupils from Bangkok will be attending in the holidays.
