Hotly anticipated Paperchases race takes place

After the disappointment of the rained-off Tucks, the first of this year’s School Races was an eagerly anticipated affair, with all houses managing to field complete A and B teams, in both age categories. 

The following individual performances were particularly noteworthy: 

Senior Boys:

• 1st - Harry P-M (I)
• 2nd - Jack K (SH)
• 3rd - Finlay C (O)

Senior Girls:

• 1st - Rosie M (EDH)
• 2nd - Olivia K (M)
• 3rd - Amelia B (MSH)

Junior Boys:

• 1st - Al W (SH)
• 2nd - Oliver R (Rt)
• 3rd - William M (SH)

Junior Girls:

• 1st - Sakura F (MSH)
• 2nd - Georgia G (MSH)
• 3rd - April H (MSH)

In the team competition: 

• The Junior Girls’ competition was won by MSH (enjoying a clean sweep of the medals!), with EDH 2nd and Grove 3rd 
• The Junior Boys’ race saw Ridgemount take victory, by only 3 points, with Ingram’s and Churchill’s tied on 130 points. Ingram’s take silver on countback, with Churchill’s in bronze 
• In the Senior Girls’, MSH were, again, the winners, ahead of EDH and Moser’s 
• The Senior Boys’ race was won by School House, who were only 4 points clear of second-placed Ingram’s. Ridgemount completes the top 3
