Our Girls’ Netball programme has got off to an excellent start this season.

We have 9 teams across our Senior and Junior provisions, all of which have been demonstrating excellent play and remarkable talent both within training and the start of season fixtures.

1st VII Excellence:

The 1st VII has set the bar high with exceptional performances, outstanding commitment and teamwork throughout every match. They have demonstrated strong and accurate passing and shooting which has been the key to success along with an impressive level of fitness.

2nd VII determination:

The 2nd VII is currently showcasing not only their skills but also their unbeatable determination. They have had some outstanding games winning by over 30 goals in the last couple of matches. The team statics are currently on 127 Goals after playing the first 4 matches.

U14A team

3rd and 4th VII Dedication:

The 3rd and 4th VII teams have demonstrated not only brilliant play during matches but also a commendable dedication to training. Their hard work and perseverance are evident in their performances, and they are looking forward to showcasing it in their up and coming matches.

U16 West Midlands Regional Netball Tournament:

The U15A have had a strong start to their season. Having been victorious in the U16 County Tournament their training has been focussed on the next stage of the competition, representing Shropshire in the Regional Tournament this weekend. They have had some excellent results so far with victories in all matches bar one where they narrowly lost 9-10 to an extremely strong Kings Worcester. Consistently accurate shooting and some superb reactions in the defensive circle has been key to the recent wins. However, the centre court players have been integral in the success of the team demonstrating excellent linking play downcourt. We wish them all the best in the Regional tournament.

Junior Teams:

The Junior teams have not only been honing their individual skills but also exemplifying exceptional teamwork.  Their emphasis on skill development and strategic plays and positioning is the integral to their success on the court.

U15B team

Our U14A team have won 7 out of 8 games with their recent statistics being 214 goals for and 85 goals against, they demonstrated excellent play throughout their latest win being 54-7 against Ellesmere College. Our U14B are on a clean streak winning all of their matches so far this term. The U15B team have also achieved great success and had an extremely close match against Haberdashers' Abraham Darby winning 32-31, the girls demonstrated remarkable composure under pressure, highlighting the team's collective efforts and individual prowess leading them to success in the hard-fought battle on the netball court.

The coaches are extremely proud of all the hard work and dedication the girls have shown throughout all of our teams. We are looking forward to a busy term of high-quality fixtures and success.
