On Saturday, Cerys T (V, QEH) captained her club, Berkswell U15 Girls, in the U15 Club T20 National Final at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, where they faced Tunbridge Wells CC U15 Girls.

A rain-affected match saw the overs reduced to 10 per innings. Berkswell posted 69–3 from their 10 overs, with Cerys top-scoring on 23 not out. Tunbridge Wells began their reply strongly and although further rain meant the game was eventually abandoned, it was great play by all.

Reflecting on the experience, Cerys said:

“Playing at Lord’s was an amazing day for me and my club. To be able to play at such a prestigious ground was an unforgettable opportunity that I will always remember. Playing on the main pitch was extremely surreal and I enjoyed every second of it. I hope that I will get the chance to play there again someday.”
