Chester Long Distance Sculls Race Report

Over the coach weekend our senior rowers attended Chester long Distance Sculls, a head race over 5km from Eccleston Ferry to Chester Groves for singles, doubles and octs.

In difficult conditions over two divisions our seventeen senior rowers navigated the winding Dee course in their singles with composure, delivering strong performances across the board. 

The senior boys squad led the charge in the morning division. With notable performances from H. Bailey (SH - 5th form), W. Rudkin (SH - LVI), B. Morgan (S - UVI) and M. Evans (SH - UVI). In addition to this M. Evans received the overall singles trophy for the fastest single time of the day, impressively beating all the Senior Men. Summary of the senior boy’s race results below.
