Our Third and Fourth Form pupils have spent the week out and about embracing a wide range of challenges as part of Activity Week 2026.

From mountain marathons and group challenges at Packwood to explorations around Earl’s Hill and hands‑on Nature Day activities, the 3rd Form threw themselves into every opportunity.

Meanwhile, the 4th Form balanced PSD sessions with Combined CCF, adventure trips to the Lake District, and the demands of the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Across the week, pupils experienced everything from warm sunshine to torrential rain, yet their enthusiasm never dipped. A group of 16 4th form pupils did some brilliant work volunteering in Snowdonia with the National Trust helping to create a community orchard and other conservation work.

Whether navigating tough terrain, working together in team tasks, or developing resilience through outdoor expeditions, they demonstrated real commitment and spirit.

It has been a fantastic opportunity for all pupils to live out and strengthen the Salopian values.
