Senior cadets from the Shrewsbury CCF were honoured to take part in Armistice services at both Telford and Shrewsbury hospitals, held within each site’s multi-faith area.

The cadets were invited as guests of the hospitals and played an active and meaningful role in the commemorations.

During the services, pupils contributed through readings — including the Kohima Epitaph — while Cdt Sgt Toby H performed a poignant rendition of the Last Post. Their involvement added great dignity to the occasion and was warmly received by all in attendance.

The cadets conducted themselves with exemplary respect, smartness and pride, representing both the School and the CCF to the highest standard. Those attending were Jack L (LVI), Toby H (UVI), Amelia B (UVI) and Bea C (UVI).

Contingent Commander, Lt Col, N.P. David
