Shrewsbury Staff Team Support Movember

We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic efforts of 'Floreat Salmopia', a team of Shrewsbury staff members, who have been taking part in this year’s Movember campaign. 

Movember is the leading global charity dedicated to men’s health, raising awareness of men’s health. The Shrewsbury team has thrown themselves into the challenge with trademark Salopian enthusiasm. 

Mr Jack Twigger, Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, will be completing 60 repetitions of 6 different gym exercises every day, as an acknowledgement to the 60 people who take their own lives every hour world-wide.  

Maths and Physics Teacher, Mr Seb Cooley, is fundraising by dying his moustache every time he reaches a fundraising target. If he reaches his ultimate target, he will dye his moustache the School House colours – black, white and magenta! With the other members of the team contributing their excellent efforts in other ways too.
